The writer of this amazing book was very specific in the theme he wanted me to follow. The theme that he wanted was that of mystery and secrecy in order to align with the written context of the book. However, the real challenge was how to give the book a mysterious look while still making it pop on a shelf.
The result was mostly dark colors and a custom, digitally designed, front and back cover, which included the spine. A faint but eye catching red glow was added behind the design and each ticket in the mans jacket is a different color. Although most of the color is grey and black, the subtle use of other colors draws the viewers eyes that little extra.
