Every year Pacific Lutheran University puts on their own little music festival. For the 2019 year, they needed an easy to read logo that could be used in multiple different settings all while keeping to a pacific northwest vibe and color scheme.
To achieve this, I incorporated the iconic symbol of a tree and a dark forest green and ocean blue color scheme. In addition, an appealing font style that I felt matched the pacific northwest plan, was just as important as the colors and needed to flow with the symbol of the tree. An almost cursive font reminded me of the various mountains, rivers, and other natural wonders that surround the PNW.
